Our department offers the following services:
Spanish classes for adults
We offer Spanish classes for adults, ages 18 and up. Classes meet twice a week from 6:30-8:45 p.m. for a total of five weeks. Our program is a wonderful choice for those wishing to practice with Spanish-speaking individuals who are learning English. Click here for more information about our Spanish program.
English as a second language program
The LAA's English as a Second Language program teaches adults who are not English proficient to understand the language and to learn how to use it in different contexts. The goal is to help individuals reach their maximum potential. ESL classes are offered at our main office on Buford Highway and at employer locations around the Atlanta region.
Onsite Spanish and English classes
We also offer onsite Spanish and English classes for employers in the metro Atlanta area who wish to offer classes in the workplace. Our staff is able to develop customized language programs in a wide variety of fields including legal, mortgage, financial, customer service, real estate, medical, human resources, social services, and manufacturing.
